PawRecap

For independent pet sitters & dog walkers

Send owners a report they'll screenshot and show their friends.

After every visit: photos, a care checklist, two lines of notes, and how the pet seemed — as a beautiful link, in about 30 seconds. Not a writer? ✨ Polish writes the note from your shorthand. Look like a professional operation, even if it's just you.

Visit report

Monday, August 17 · Drop-in

Biscuithad a great time 🤩

11:12 AM – 11:41 AM · 29 min

The stick in question
  • Post-walk sun spot
  • Earned it

What we did

  • Fed — done
  • Fresh water — done
  • Potty break — done
  • Playtime — done
  • Treats — done

Not needed today: Meds.

From Maya's Pet Care

Biscuit was thrilled to see me and ate everything. We did a long loop of the park — he found a very important stick — then a big drink and a nap in the sun spot. Left the porch light on. See you Thursday!

Tail-wagging, all-round excellent.

✨ Polish

Type it rough. Send it warm.

Tap ✨ Polish and your shorthand comes back as the two or three warm sentences an owner actually reads — your facts, your voice. It only works from what you typed and ticked, so it can't invent a walk that didn't happen or meds you didn't give.

What you type

Notes for the owner

SO happy to see me, ate everything, long park loop, found THE stick, big drink + sun nap, porch light on, see you thurs

Drop-in · Biscuit 🐶 · ticked: fed, water, potty, play, treats · mood: Great 🤩

What the owner reads

From Maya's Pet Care

The note lands here.

A replay — in the app, Polish runs on your own notes, checklist and mood, and nothing sends until you've read it. 5 free on every account · unlimited on Pro. It's the note in Biscuit's report above ↑

Owners rebook the sitter who shows their work

A photo text says “fine.” A report says “here's what I did, here's how he was, here's proof.” That's the difference between a one-off and a regular.

Your brand, not the platform's

Your business name on every report. On Pro, your logo and colour too. Off-platform clients see a professional operation — and tell their neighbours.

Built for a hallway, one-handed

Big tap targets, a checklist that already knows dogs walk and cats have litter, and photos that upload themselves even after you've locked the phone.

How it works

  1. 1

    Start visit

Tap the client. Their pets and care notes — meds, feeding, quirks — are right there.

  2. 2

    Tap through

Fed, water, meds, walk, play, treats. Done, not needed, or skip. Snap a couple of photos.

  3. 3

    Two lines

How was she? Shorthand is fine — ✨ Polish turns it into the note owners read. Pick a mood.

  4. 4

    End & send

Owner gets an email with the link — or you copy it into a text. About 30 seconds, start to finish.

Works alongside Rover, Wag, and whatever you book with

Scheduling, invoicing, and route planning are what make the big pet-sitter suites cost $35–50 a month and take a weekend to set up. PawRecap does none of it. Keep your calendar and your payments where they are — this is only the part your clients actually see.

  • No scheduling to migrate
  • No invoicing to learn
  • No client logins to support
  • Set up in five minutes, on your phone

Questions

Do my clients need an app or account?
No. They get a link — by email, or you paste it into a text. It opens in any browser, on any phone, with nothing to install. And when they love the visit, they can tap an emoji right on the report to say thanks — still no account.
Does this replace Rover, Time To Pet, or my calendar?
No, and it isn't trying to. Book wherever you book. PawRecap only does the part your clients actually see: the report after the visit. That's why it costs $9 and not $40.
Can it get me more reviews?
Yes — this is the quiet favourite. Paste your Google or Rover review link into settings, and once a client has opened 5 of your reports, each report adds one soft line: “Loving these updates? A review helps more than you'd guess.” Your happiest clients are the ones already opening every report — they just needed to be asked.
What's a monthly recap?
At the end of a month (or any time during one), each pet gets a shareable Wrapped-style page — “Biscuit's August: 14 visits, 62 photos, signature mood: Excellent 🤩” — with a photo highlight reel and your name on it. One tap in the app creates the link; owners forward it to the family group chat, and it's the kind of thing that ends up on Instagram. Reports are for the owner; recaps are for showing off.
What does the ✨ Polish button do?
Write your notes as shorthand — “ate all bfast, meds done, big zoomies” — or tap your keyboard's mic and just talk, then hit Polish. It rewrites what you recorded into the two or three warm sentences your client actually reads, right there in the notes field. It works only from your notes, checklist and mood, so it can never claim a walk that didn't happen or meds you didn't tick. You get 5 free; Pro has no limit.
Won't AI-written notes sound like a robot?
The facts and the affection are yours — Polish just turns your own shorthand into full sentences, and nothing sends until you've read it and edited anything that doesn't sound like you. There's an Undo if you liked yours better. Your notes only go to the AI when you tap the button, and they're never used to train models.
What's on the free plan?
Everything you need to send 10 reports a month, forever. Free reports carry a small “Made with PawRecap 🐾” line at the bottom, and their photos are kept for 18 months. Pro removes the line, adds your logo and colour, shows you when an owner opens a report, gives you unlimited ✨ Polish, keeps photos forever, and has no cap.
What if I lose signal in a client's house?
Keep going. Everything you type is saved on your phone as you go, and photos upload themselves when you're back on signal — even if you closed the app.
Are the reports private?
Each report lives at a long, unguessable link that only the people you send it to have — the same model as a private Google Doc link. Reports are never listed by search engines, and never show a client's email, phone, or address. We don't even store addresses.
Cats too?
Yes. Drop-ins, walks, overnights, and “other” — the checklist adapts (litter for cats, walks for dogs), and you can add or remove items on any visit.
